Being based in the Cyclades providing Greek holiday packages 10 months a years give me a great opportunity for some photography i.e. some amateur photography. I cant think of a better place for a photographer than Greece: fantastic landscapes, wonderful natural light and seasons of spring and early autumn, when the day is long and the weather is sunny.

The kit I’m using at the moment is:

Canon EOS 77D DSLR Camera with

Canon 18 – 135 mm EF-S F3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens
Canon EF-S 10-18 mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM Lens

What you need to generally bring with you is

DSLR’s or Mirrorless are preferred, but higher quality compact cameras are very impressive. Also its recommended you bring a lightweight tripod, extra memory cards. At least a ND filter. Greece is so sunny so anything else rather than a 10 stop ND filter would not be a good idea. If you only have to take one, get a 10 stop ND filter. Lenses that will cover wide, medium and telephoto.
