Our Selected Saronic Islands
Aegina
Just 27 km from Athens, Aegina is an ideal year-round destination with long summers and mild winters. Rich in history and character, it features ancient ruins, charming port towns with 19th-century elegance, deserted Byzantine chapels, and beautiful beaches. Aegina’s traditional tavernas and local pistachio products are a must-try.
Poros
Located around 58 km from Piraeus, Poros is a serene, pine-covered island with an authentic Greek feel. Its picturesque main town, neoclassical buildings, and crystal-clear beaches create an idyllic setting for a relaxing holiday. Don’t miss the local archaeological museum and the peaceful charm of the pine-fringed coastline.
Hydra
One of Greece’s most unique islands, Hydra is completely car-free. With no cars or scooters, the island is explored on foot, by donkey, or water taxi. Its cobbled lanes, historic stone mansions, and artist-run galleries give it a distinctive, bohemian feel. Hydra is as peaceful as it is enchanting—perfect for a slower, reflective pace.
Spetses
Chic and aristocratic, Spetses combines refined elegance with natural beauty. Known for its neoclassical mansions, pine-clad hills, and stylish harbour, the island offers a mix of history, glamour, and vibrant nightlife. Like Hydra, Spetses restricts cars within the main town, favouring horse-drawn carriages, bicycles, and mopeds—enhancing its timeless atmosphere.
